Baigtas, baigtas, baigtas...

Pagaliau! Labai džiaugiuosi pagaliau užbaigusi bent vieną iš pamirštų darbų (ta proga planuoju dar bent porą naujų pradėti, tik tiek, kad juos šiemet ir užbaigsiu - bus įdomu siuvinėti). Pradėjau aš jį 2012-ais (tais pačiais metais ir palikau laukti, kol vėl prisiminsiu jį). O šis pinigų nykštukas, bandantis aukso tikrumą, teisybę pasakius, man net nelabai reikalingas.

The very first of my old UFOs is done. This old man, counting his money and trying if it is real gold, is stitched. It took me nearly five years to stitch it. I started it in 2012, the same year it was left and was finished in two evenings. OK, these were quit long evenings. But still - only two evenings. Now it will lay in a box with other unframed works. I am not sure what was I thinking about, what was the reason to stitch it. Yes, it is nice, but I do not need it and I am not going to frame it or to use in some other way. But as long as it needs not so much space I'll keep it at home...

  1. what a face full of character, like you I have numerous things made then nothing done with them though years ago I had everything framed now I have boxes of framed things and no where to hang them, maybe I will take them out of the frames as they will then store more easily

    1. Oh, I understand you very well :D I also have some framed pictures waiting for their day of glory (that possibly will never come). But what are you going to do with frames, if you will take your works out of them?

  2. Sveiki Agnė,
Galiu tik įsivaizduoti, kiek laiko ji turi būti tai padaryti, bet jis yra nuostabus Salą adatos gabalas.

    1. Thank you, Giac. It took me only five years to finish this stitching (but, of course, it would have been possible to stitch it in one or two weeks...)
